How to Obtain and Activate a License
When we have received your purchase order we will send you our Software License Agreement (SLA) by email.
As soon as we receive a signed copy of the agreement you may request for a License Activation Code (LAC) to unlock the software and activate the license.
Activation of the license is also the commencement date for term bound licenses (Lease Program only).
To obtain the License Activation Code (LAC) to activate the license you should perform the following three steps:
- Download and install the software to a directory of your choice;
- Mail the Active License Code to license@testnext.com (see How to get the Active License Code below);
- Activate the requested license using the corresponding License Activation Code (LAC). You will receive the LAC from Testnext by email.
Note that the license is uniquely bound to the machine on which they were activated and will not work on any other machine.
However, you can ‘move’ the license to another machine at any time. Please read the article ‘How to move the license to another machine‘ for more information.
How to get the Active License Code?
Select the main menu option License (see 1).
Press the button Request (see 2). Your default email application will be launched along with a pre-composed message containing all required information. Send this message to license@testnext.com.
Alternatively, you can manually copy the Active License Code to the clipboard (see 3) and email the code to license@testnext.com.
How to activate the license?
After you have sent the active license code to license@testnext.com, you will receive the License Activation Code (LAC) by email in return to activate the purchased license.
To activate the license select the main menu option License (see 1), paste/enter the LAC (see 2) and press the button Activate (see 3) to activate the license and unlock the software.
